PROVIDENCE, R.I.  -  April 18, 2014  -  PRLog  -- Up North Records, New England's self-proclaimed largest independent hip-hop record label distributed by Bungalo Records and Universal Music Group Distribution is announcing today that the label will be completely restructured. All recording artists associated with the label are being released and will need to renegotiate and secure new deals with the label. The move comes at this time because the label is seeking to better align itself with artists in a more strategic manner. In order to better help it's artists succeed the label felt as though it needed to completely transform and shrink it's roster to better position those strategic artists in the ever-changing musical landscape. As of this press release, the only recording artist to resign with Up North Records is Truth & Power also known as TP.
